Hello, my name is Twinkle Patnaik, and I am the first grade teacher at St. Edward Catholic School for the upcoming 2024-2025 school year! I have been teaching for over a decade. I am a passionate teacher who brings a touch of the outdoors into the classroom. With my background and love for plants, I bring the values and compassion of horticulture into my teachings - where I encourage all my students to explore their calling through hands-on activities and projects in science, reading, math, and language arts. I encourage my students to slowly start taking ownership of their learning and develop an idea of independence at this stage. I hope to not only inspire my students to grow as learners, but far more as individuals, and to help cultivate a sense of confidence and purpose that will serve them well beyond their classroom walls.
